Before submitting a notice
Consider whether the disputed use may be authorized, licensed, public domain, fair use, fair dealing, or otherwise permitted by law. A knowingly false notice can create legal liability.
Required notice information
A complete notice should identify the copyrighted work, identify the material claimed to infringe with a specific URL or location, provide the claimant’s name and contact information, include a good-faith statement, include a statement of accuracy and authority under penalty of perjury where applicable, and include a physical or electronic signature.
How to submit
Use the Contact Us page and select the most relevant inquiry type. State “Copyright Notice” in the subject. Do not send unrelated confidential or financial information.
Review process
YieldNest may request clarification, remove or restrict material, notify the affected party, preserve records, or decline an incomplete notice. Removal does not necessarily mean that infringement has been admitted.
Counter-notice
A person whose material was removed may submit a valid counter-notice when permitted by law. The counter-notice should identify the removed material, state a good-faith belief that removal was a mistake or misidentification, provide contact information, consent to applicable jurisdiction where required, and include a signature.
Repeat infringement
Where applicable, YieldNest may restrict repeat infringers. The website primarily publishes editorial content controlled by its operator and does not provide a public file-hosting service.
Non-copyright disputes
Trademark, privacy, defamation, contract, and other disputes are not resolved through a copyright notice. Use the Contact Us page to identify the issue and the legal basis.
